Trout roe — also known as trout caviar — is the smaller, more delicate counterpart to salmon roe.

The pearls are a stunning bright orange, with a clean, lightly briny flavour and a gentle sweetness that makes it one of the most approachable roes available. Elegant on its own and versatile at the table — equally suited to blinis, crackers, or a composed appetizer.

What is the difference between trout roe and salmon roe?
